Recently we have had a class meeting whose topic is “success”. Views vary from person to person.
Some of the students think that making a lot of money means success, because with money you can do a lot of things and also money earns you a high position in society. Some of the students hold the view that success means becoming a famous person like a super star or a sports star because they are well known and their parents are proud of them. However, the other students think that making a contribution to society means success. The reason is that only a few people can be millionaires or become famous. As ordinary people, they should do what they can to serve the people.
In my opinion, there is no standard for success. So long as we do our best and achieve our goals, then that is success.
