The photo was taken at about 6 p. m. on a beach in my hometown, a coastal city in Southeast China.
In the photo, there are many colorful things on the beach. They are not beautiful shells or other living things from the sea, but empty bottles, white meal-boxes, plastic bags and other waste. The beach is seriously polluted.
My friends and l went there to enjoy the beautiful sea and relax ourselves. There were hundreds of other visitors, too. However, some of them didn't take away the waste when they left there. I took and sent it to take part in this competition to remind people of the serious problem.
