Smart phones with cameras that can take selfies (自拍) have become popular. We can now take every moment of our life and then share it with the world through the Internet. However, some believe that taking a selfie is causing people to take risks that something causing people to take risks that something cause death!

Though the problem of taking selfies has been known for a while, it became worse and had to be dealt with on September 21st following the death of Frank, who was trying to take a selfie with his friends when they fell off some stairs. His friend only broke his leg while Frank died from the accident. It was reported that three Indian students were run over(碾压) by a passing train while they were taking a selfie on the railway tracks.

More and more selfie-connected accidents are forcing some governments to deal with the problem. In July, the Russian Interior Ministry began a program which didn't allow visitors to use the selfie stick(自拍杆). Many museums and theme parks haven't allowed visitors to use the selfie stick, either.

Although official ways may help reduce the accidents, the only way to stop selfie-connected accidents is that everyone takes them seriously. So when you decide to take a selfie that appears dangerous, be sure to stop.

“Make-A-Wish” is one of the world's most well-known charities. It makes wishes come true for children who have serious illnesses. It gives them hope and joy and helps them forget about their health problems and have fun.

It all started in 1980 in phoenix, Arizona(亚利桑那州). Christopher was a 7-year-old boy who was very sick. He always dreamed of becoming a police officer. Tommy Austin and Ron Cox, two police officers, made his wish come true. They gave Christopher a tour of the city in a police helicopter(直升飞机) and made a real police uniform for him.

There are four kinds of wishes children usually have:

(1) I wish to go. Children usually want to travel or go to a concert, a game or a park.

(2) I wish to meet. Children sometimes want to meet their favorite actors, singers or players.

(3) I wish to be. Some children wish to become actors, singers or police officers.

(4) I wish to have. They often want to have a computer, a game, a bike or many other things.

Let's hope more wishes will come true in the future. People who work in the charity always try for the best. Almost 25,000 volunteers help, work or give money. Will you be one of them?

Global(全球的)warming is a big problem now. One of the best things to stop it is to plant more trees. Trees can take in CO2 in the air. China is doing a great job of "greening" the world. A team of scientists at Boston University used a special camera and found that the global leaf area had increased by 5 percent since the early 2000s. And China was responsible for 25% of that. For example, since 1962, China has planted trees in Saihanba, Hebei Province. It was once a desert. But now, China has turned this place into the country's largest man—made forest.

Ant Forest, a program in Alipay app, also plays a part of planting trees. It gives users points for doing eco—friendly activities on the Alipay platform(平台)to encourage people to live a low—carbon(低碳)life. The activities include walking instead of driving, paying on Alipay, buying tickets online, taking buses or subways and so on. Users can use these points to water and grow their own virtual(虚拟的)trees. When the virtual trees are big enough, Ant Forest will plant real trees somewhere in China. More than 55 million trees have been planted in this way. Ant Forest is very popular with online users. Now 230 million people are planting virtual trees on their mobile phones. It is believed that everyone wants to protect the environment. Ant Forest uses technology to make it come true.
