10．Join our community of student volunteers
As the UK's biggest children's charity（慈善团体），Barnardo's offers a lot of
voluntary work for students．Voluntary work is a great way for students to meet new people and help them work to change their life．Student volunteers are very important to Barnardo's．We are looking for the people who are prepared to give a few hours a week to volunteer with us．
Students can also apply for student retail（零售的） volunteer roles．
There is lots of voluntary work at Barnardo's，including volunteering in one of our shops，offices or children's projects．
Voluntary work ideas．
We are open to all ideas，not just traditional volunteering．For example：
※Plans for running stalls（摊位）in their students'union connected with their local Barnardo's store．
※Recycling（回收利用）things in school．
※helping our local media（媒体）officers make a new project．
