Our skin is like a bag that we live in. Inside the bag our bodies are mostly water. Our water is like the water in the sea. It is very salty. Also, like the ocean, we can lose our water. The wind and the sun could take it away. Our bag of skin keeps our body’s ocean from drying up.

One afternoon, I went into an art museum while waiting for my husband, I hoped to enjoy the works of art quietly.

I threw it on my brother’s bed and looked at it for a long time before I put it on and went out, smiling a “thank you” to my mom.

The next day I wore it to school. At the morning break, my best friend, Steve, looked at me for a long time. The girls turned away to whisper. The teachers looked my way and talked about how foolish I looked in my new jacket. When it was time for the whole school to get together on the playground, .
