1．In the past，man did not have to think about the protection of his environment．There were not many people on earth，and natural resources seemed to be unlimited．

1．People have talked about whether aliens are real or not for thousands of years．Alien spaceships are often called flying saucers（飞碟）．The first person to use this name an American，Kenneth Arnold．On24th June，1947，he was flying a small plane in Washington．Then he saw something strange．Arnold said，"When I looked out of the window，I saw nine saucer like things in front of me．"
