Christopher Columbus was born in 1451, in Genoa, Italy. He learned to read and write by himself. He didn't have any jobs except helping his father. His dream, when he was young, was to be rich and famous. At the age of 41 ,he left Spain and sailed toward the west. At last,in 1492 ,he discovered America.
