China is a country with many colorful days and festivals. The Dragon Head Raising Day is one of them. This special day is on the second day of the second month in the Chinese lunar calendar. It (1 ) s for the started of spring and farming.

It began a year ago,around Christmas. Every time I drove down our street,I 1 an old man sitting in his front yard. He was usually smoking or drinking,and looking rather unhappy.
