Changes in people's lives
Great changes have taken place in people's lives in the past 40 years. In the past,a big family had to live in a small house. People kept in touch with relatives and friends by writing letters. They listened to the radio for news and other information. Children used to go to school on foot or by bike.
Now more and more people live in big and bright flats. People can talk to others over the telephone or on the Internet. Almost every family has TVs and computers. Today,people still ride their bikes to school or work,but they can also travel by bus,taxi,or underground. More and more families have their own cars.
