    Nowadays after class,Sabrina Schramm no longer discusses TV dramas,sports or clothes with her classmates. Instead,the eighth-grader from Texas,US, talks about what she wants to do in the future.

   In fact,all the eighth-graders in Texas may be talking about it. According to a new state law,before the school year ends,students should decide to learn one of five areas of study in high school. They include business and industry,arts and humanities (人文学科) ,and public service. Each area provides different courses.
