My Dream

I want to be a writer when I grow up. Writing has been part of my life. Through writing I will be able to share my ideas and make friends with others.

I can achieve my dream by reading widely and by working hard at school to learn as much as possible. It’s also important to find out how great people did it so that I could learn from them. I’m determined to hold on to my dream till one day it comes true.

In the middle of the first term of school, the entire seventh grade was tested for basic skills. Steve hurried through his tests, and continued to dream of other things. His heart was not in school, but in the woods.
