There is an old Chinese saying, “If someone gives you a little drop of water, you should give a spring of water back to him or her.”That means if someone helps you a little, you should remember it and thank them more in return.
We should live in a world of thanks. We should thank people, even though they hurt us, because他们教我们重要的事情。We should thank people, even though they give us up, because we learn how to be independent(独立). We should thank people, even though they are selfish(自私的)because we learn the importance of being kind. Of course, we should thank people when they help us, teach us and care about us.
We thank our parents.他们为了给孩子更好的生活而努力工作。They cook meals for us;They do chores for us; They teach us what is right and what is wrong.
We thank our teachers. They give us dreams. They teach us a lot of things but ask for nothing from us.
There are a lot of people in our life. We should find a way to thank them.

【4】他们教会我们什么是好的什么是错的。
【5】他们教了我们很多东西却不求回报。
【解析】
本文分析了滴水之恩当涌泉相报,告诉人们要懂得感恩。
【1】If someone如果某人,gives you给你,a little drop of water一滴水,you should你应该,give a spring of water back to him or her给一股泉水回报他或她,根据“if someone helps you a little, you should remember it and thank them more in return.”可知此处是表示回报,故填滴水之恩,当涌泉相报。
【2】they他们,teach教,根据上下文可知此处应该用一般现在时,us我们,动词后面应该用宾格,important things重要的事情,故填they teach us important things。
【3】they,他们,work hard努力工作,give their children a better life给孩子更好的生活,to为了,表目的,故填They work hard to give their children a better life.
【4】they teach us他们教会我们,what is right什么是对的,what is wrong什么是错的,故填他们教会我们什么是好的什么是错的。
【5】They teach us他们教会我们,a lot of things很多东西,but但是,ask for nothing from us不求回报,故填他们教了我们很多东西却不求回报
翻译类型的题型除了要根据断句,断开翻译,之后再调整语序,另外还要注意结合上下文的语境理解其真正的含义,同时也要注意语法要使用正确。
【题目】根据短文理解,完成下列表格。
Jane was on her way home at around 6 o'clock. It was getting dark. As she drove into her community, she noticed a man.
She saw the man walking along the sidewalk next to some houses. He didn't live in any of those houses. She had seen this man several times before. He looked like a criminal (罪犯).
She drove by him. He looked at her car as she drove by. She continued driving and watched him in her rear view mirror (后视镜). She got to the corner and stopped. She continued to watch him walking in her direction. Suddenly, he turned left up a driveway (车道). A red SUV was parked in the driveway right next to the sidewalk. She saw him walk up to the driver's door and put his hand on the handle (把手). Then he returned to the sidewalk and went on to walk in her direction.
"What is that all about?" Jane wondered. Then she realized that he had tested the door to see if it was locked. "He is a criminal," she thought. "That's what he does. He just walks in our neighborhood looking for cars to break into."
She called the police and described the man. The police officer said he knew who the man was. The people in the community called two or three times this week to report him walking by. But the police couldn't arrest him for walking around unless they caught him with stolen things. "But he was testing that SUV door to see if it was unlocked," she said.
"I'm sorry," said the officer. "That's not against the law. If you see him actually steal something, please give us a call."
