“Today's robots are not human like. For example they are things like automatic (自动的) beds and wheelchairs, ” says Professor Isshiguro at Osaka UniversityJapan. He believes the time is coming when robots start looking less like machines, and more like us. “In the near future we are going to use more human-like robots,I really think so,J , says the Japanese professor.

Professor Maja Mataric at the University of Southern California agrees. u Ym very excited about the fact that today we have machines that are put together with people in a daily life setting ,” she says.

Nothing was done by the doctors there and he gradually started to get more symptoms — he lost weight, had a white face, had dark circles around his eyes, slept all the time, and hardly ate anything.

Then we went to a big hospital. They tested Shane and then we got the news that he had a brain tumor and that we had to go to a hospital named QMC to treat the tumor.
