The next day, the camel went to the meeting point as agreed. While waiting, he was drinking water and stretching his neck to see if the deer and the horse would come. But none of them showed up. Many days and years have passed since then, and the poor camel has still not got back his antlers or his tail.

Because he drank too much water while awaiting the deer and the horse, the camel has got a hump full of water; and because he stretched his neck gazing long and hard for the deer and the horse, his neck has grown long.

The horse kept his tail but, whenever he sees the camel in the distance, he runs away.

As to the deer, he also kept his antlers, but he has to change them every year because the luck of having antlers did not belong to him but to the camel, and he only got them by betraying the camel.

【题目】 “Smombies”, people walking while staring at their mobile phone are getting attention of the public. To make them pay more attention to things around them in order to avoid serious accidents, the government of a small German town has come up with a solution，that is，fixing traffic lights in the pavement to make them noticed by people who keep looking down at their phones.

The safety measure was decided after two people in the town of Augsburg were recently hit by buses as they crossed the street without looking up from their phones. Officials in Augsburg decided to act，fixing ground-level traffic lights at two bus stops last Tuesday. The lights flash red whenever a bus is coming.

“We realized that many people don’t pay attention to traffic lights,”said Tobias Hermes，a city official. “So we decided to have unusual traffic lights. The more we have，the more probably people will notice them.”

Some Augsburg people seem to be quite happy with the idea. “I think it does have a point,” Jack Smith said，“We always see young people these days running over red lights，which makes it clear that we have to take action to stop this.”
