Have you ever seen the film Traveling Bird? In the film, groups of birds fly high above the sky and cross the way above snow, rivers, fields, seas and grasslands. I'm sure you will love the beautiful pictures when you see the film.

But you may not feel so good if you have learnt about bird flu from TV or the Internet. Some governments had to kill chickens in their cities. A large number of chickens and even some people died in Asia, and nearly 8,500 birds died in Russia because of bird flu.

Chickens can get bird flu from the feces(粪便) of the passing birds. It's not so difficult to control the chickens in cages or on farms, but it's much more difficult to control the birds flying in the sky.

Luckily, scientists have found a medicine for bird flu. But the virus changes easily and quickly. So bird flu is still a serious problem we have to face.

1We can know how birds get bird flu from the film Traveling Bird.

2Not only birds and chickens but also human beings can get bird flu.

3The feces of the passing birds can’t cause bird flu.

4It is easier to control chickens than to control flying birds.

5Scientists have found the medicine, so we needn’t worry about bird flu any more.

根据第一段中“In the film, groups of birds fly high above the sky and cross the way above snow, rivers, fields, seas and grasslands.”

根据第二段中“A large number of chickens and even some people died in Asia, and nearly 8,500 birds died in Russia because of bird flu.”

根据第三段中“Chickens can get bird flu from the feces(粪便) of the passing birds.”

根据第三段中“It's not so difficult to control the chickens in cages or on farms, but it's much more difficult to control the birds flying in the sky.”

根据最后一段中“Luckily, scientists have found a medicine for bird flu. But the virus changes easily and quickly. So bird flu is still a serious problem we have to face.”

There are robots all around us, making our lives easier. Some of them, like the _______ calculator(计算器), can work much more quickly than human beings _______. And they never make mistakes. In some ways robots are better than people. They work quickly, _______ do not make mistakes. They do not get _______ with doing the same job over and over again. And they never get tired.

So robots are very useful in factories. They can be taught to do many different jobs. First their electronic brains must be shown _______ the job is done. A person moves the robot's arms and hands through each part of the job. The robot's brain _______ each move. When the robot is put to work on its own, its brain controls the rods (), wheels and motors which _______ its arms.

When the robot is _______ for a new job, its electronic memory is "wiped clean". Then it is taught how to do its new task.

If the robot's hands stop working, or if something gets in the way, it cannot do the next part of the job. So it stops and signals (发出信号) for _______. Then a human engineer attends to (处理) the fault.
