The Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown.

In the past, people communicated with friends far away by writing letters. Now they can use mobile phone to chat with each other. Moreover, most families have computers and the Internet. They can also chat on the Internet. People used to go out on foot or by bike, but now they can take a bus, a taxi or even drive their own cars. Old houses also have turned into new tall buildings over the years.

However, the changes also bring some problems. For example, the air and the river are not as clean as before. I think people must remember to protect the environment while they are improving their lives. I hope I can see a clean and modern town in the near future.
