Qian Xuesen died on October 31，2009，at the age of 98．
Qian Xuesen was born in Shanghai in 1911．He graduated in 1934 from Shanghai Jiaotong University．The same year，he traveled to the US to study．He received his Doctor's Degrees in both math and space science in the US．
