On Easter Day, people often eat meat, mainly lamb and ham. They all have a certain meaning. Lamb means the devotion(献身)to Christ People eat Easter bread too. The Easter bread painted the words of crosses, in order to commemorate(纪念)Christ.
On Faster Day, people dress up and go out. They walk around the town. Now many people walk in Easter parades (游行) to show and see new spring clothes especially hats. The new clothes are a symbol of new life.
When people meet on Easter, they often greet each other with “Happy Easter! The Lord’s rise!”
