How do you get to school? Do you walk or take a bus? You could try a new way to go around Ningbo City from May, 2014.

That is Ningbo Rail Transit. It is about 247.5 kilometers in all.

The Line 1(1号线) started construction(建造) in June, 2009 and people could take the first half of Line 1 in May,2014. It is between Gaoqiao and Ningbo East New Town. And the second half opened in 2015.
