These cards allow players who give wrong answers an extra chance to compete on the show. Millions of people downloaded these game show apps in January. The number of people Huajiao Zhibo attracted was as high as over 4 million.

Players are enjoying turning their knowledge into a chance to win cash prizes. They have also found that they are learning a lot during the process. “I found them really attractive, as I can learn and play at the same time,” said Cao Lei, a 25-year-old user / player from Beijing. “These are all free apps and I stand to win some money.
