    Most English people have three names: a first name,a middle (中间的) name and a family name.

   Their family names come last. For example (比如) ，my full name is Kate Kin Hand. Hand is my family name. My parents give me both of my other names. People don ’ t use their middle name very much. So “John Henry Brown” is usually called (被称作) “John Brown”.

    People don't use Mr.，Mrs. or Miss before their first name. So,you can say John Brown;but you can t  say Mr. John. They use Mr. , Mrs. or Miss with the family name but not with the first name.

    Sometimes people ask me about my name. ^uWhy do your parents call you Kate? Why do they choose (选择) that name for you?” The answer is they don't call me Kate. They call me Catherine. In England,people usually call me Kate for short. That's because it is short and easy.
