The roads were narrow and the living conditions were terrible. People were not rich. They went to work on foot or by bike. But now, there are many tall buildings in our hometown. We can see the clean river and the clear water . Even we can see fish in the water. There are many wide and clean roads. Our life is better and better The environment around us is more and more comfortable. People usually go to work by bus or by car.

I am glad to see these great changes in my hometown. But I think it’s still important to remember the past. It tells that we should cherish the present life.
