They play football. And while they are walking around, Jack sometimes sees Damian and Damian’s group. Damian calls out, and throws something at him, but Jack ignores him. He isn’t interested in Damian. He isn’t important. And all the time Jack is watching and waiting. He is listening for a special sound.

Then one evening, Jack is sitting in his room looking out of the window. Jim is sitting on the bed playing.

It is a cool evening at last. A light wind is blowing. Summer is finally coming to an end. It is a quiet evening, too. Nobody is playing loud music.
