　　This year about 10,000 Hong Kong Chinese will travel to Japan during the Chinese New Year holidays. Why does Japan become the most popular place outside of China for Hong Kong travelers? Because the trips to that country are still cheap. Besides because Japan’s most popular scenic and historic stops(风景区和历史古迹)lie near. It’s possible for travelers to visit a large number of such places in a short time. To our great surprise, Hong Kong Chinese like Japanese food more and more now, though they didn’t like it at all in the past. Besides, because there are many Chinese words in Japanese, and it makes travel in Japan easier and more interesting.

From the time we were babies we have been taught manners. We are taught how to hold a knife and fork and not to talk with our mouths full. We are taught how to shake hands and when to stand and when to sit and the way to introduce people.

Sometimes good manners in one place are very bad manners somewhere else. Almost everywhere eating together means that people are very friendly to each other.
