Computers have changed a lot over these years. Many years ago they were the size of a room,but now we can surf the Internet using our mobile phones. Computers are getting smaller,faster and less expensive. In the future,what will computers look like? What will they be able to do?
Could you imagine a computer without a monitor or a keyboard? A group of people from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (麻省理工学院) have created a computer that you can wear amimd your neck like a necklace. There is a small projector (投影仪) that will let you use any surface in front of you as a computer screen. Using this computer,you can call without using a mobile phone. You can take pictures just by making a picture frame (框架) with your fingers. It s amazing,isn t it? It’s called Sixth Sense”.
This computer can recognize the movement of your hand. Want to know the time? Just draw a circle on your hand and the time will be shown to you. Want to send an email? Just draw an “@” in the air and you will be able to send an email.
