Once a little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?”
“Because I’m a woman,” she told him.
“I don’t understand,” he said. His mum just hugged him and said, “And you will never understand it.”
Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does my mother seem to cry for no reason?”
“All women cry for no reason,” answered his father.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he gave a call to the God; and when the God got the phone, he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?”
God said: “When I made woman she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet, gentle enough to give comfort. I gave her an inner strength to endure(忍耐) childbirth and the rejection(拒绝) that comes from her children many times. I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and takes care of her family through sickness and fatigue(疲劳)without complaining.”
At last the God said again, “Finally, I gave her a tear to shed, and this is her right exclusively(专有的)to use whenever it is needed.”
1.The boy’s mother cried because she hurt herself.
2.His father told the reason why the boy’s mother was crying.
3.There are three persons in the passage except the God.
4.The passage mainly tells us why women cry so easily.
5.According to the God, a woman can stop doing something when someone else does.

I have never taken cooking classes. I learned cooking from my mother because she was really interested in teaching me how to cook. The main reason for this was because when my mother got married, she didn't know how to cook anything, not even an egg. My grandmother never allowed her to stay in the kitchen when she was cooking.
My mother did not start to cook until she was twenty-five years old. In the beginning, it was very hard for her. Therefore, she had to take cooking classes to prepare(准备)our meals. After having that experience, she decided to teach me how to cook because she didn't want me to have the same experience.
I remember when I was seven years old, I started to learn cooking from my mother. Sometimes we prepared the meals that my mother already knew how make, and sometimes we prepared meals from recipes. Thanks to that experience, now I don't need any help to cook a meal. I can cook for myself or for a group of people; it doesn't matter. I will do the same with my children because I don't want them to have the same experience as my mother. If one day I am not with them, I want to be sure that they can continue their life without me.
