My mother used to ask me, “What is the most important part of the body?” When I was young, I thought   16   was very important to us, so I said, “My ears, Mommy.” She said, “No. Many people are deaf but still live a  17   life; keep thinking and I will ask you again.”

Several years   18  before she asked me again. This time I told her, “Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes.” She looked at me and told me, “You are  19   fast, but the answer is not correct. Many people are blind, but they still live happily.” Over the years, she asked me many times and always her answer was, “No. But you are getting   20   every year, my child.”

Then last year, my grandpa died. Everyone was crying. When it was our turn to  21   our final goodbye to him, my mother asked me, “Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?” I was  22   when she asked me this. I always thought this was a game between her and me. I saw her eyes with tears. She said, “My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder (肩膀).” I asked, “Is it because it  23  up my head?”  She replied, “No. It is because it can hold the head of a friend or a relative (亲戚) when he or she  24 . Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends, so you will  25  have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.” That was when I realized what the most important body part is.

There are thousands of people across the United States without any food or shelter (住所)．Every Saturday or Sunday night，my family and I go out and__1__the homeless people in the city.

There is one__2__thing I like to mention here.Before  we begin our__3__，my family and I do not eat.We do  this__4__we know how it feels to be hungry.We all get  together in the kitchen and__5__the food.We then__6__ the food for 30 or more people.I like to write a special__7__on the bags like“God loves you”．

A lot of people__8__homeless people.Not all homeless people are bad people.Some are really__9__.Many people hate them__10__no good reason.In the beginning，when my family and I went out on the street，we had to__11__their trust.Later，as they__12__us every week，they started  to trust us.We__13__know some of their names.We all have to keep in mind that they also have__14__.Some of them shake our hands for giving them food，and__15__us.Some of them do really funny dances because they are__16__.

We have become__17__close to a man named Tony and his wife.After meeting with them several times，he has told us a lot about his__18__.He graduated from college and has a PHD.He used to teach French and Spanish.

After we get done feeding the homeless，it makes me__19__what I have at home.Sometimes it makes me sad，and makes my mom cry.I love feeding the homeless，and__20__in someone’s life.
