It will be Halloween on 31st October in Canada．That night, we will dress up as witches(巫婆), ghosts (鬼)and wild animals．We will play a game called “Trick or Treat”．Treat' means giving us sweets or presents．We will go from house to house and say, “Trick or Treat”．If someone does not give us sweets or presents we will play a trick on him later．
That night, many people will put pumpkin(南瓜)lamps in them．We always have fun on Halloween．Last year, I collected plenty of sweets!

The package consisted of a long, narrow carefully wrapped in brown paper. Opening the box, Oscar saw an umbrella inside—a very old one with a beautiful handle (把手). he had not seen it in more than 20 years, he recognized it immediately.

Years later, Oscar was the handle of the umbrella as he remembered Mrs. Brain. It was in perfect condition, considering how old it was. Why had it arrived here today?
