　　Li Dong is a young man of twenty-five. Five years ago, when he finished middle school, he didn't go to college and went back to his village. But he didn't want to be a farmer and tried to find a job in the city. He lived there for a year. He liked to wear beautiful clothes and eat nice food, but be would not work hard. Of course he got little money. He had to come back again. With his parents' help, he planted hundreds of apple trees. His father took good care of the trees and in the autumn he harvested a lot of apples. He sold them and got much money. Soon he bought a motorbike in a shop. When he was riding it, he was very happy.

　　One afternoon the young man went out by motorbike. He rode very fast and soon got to the town. When he came near to the crossing, he saw a beautiful girl was waiting for a bus and she was one of his classmates. In a hurry to say hello to her, he knocked an old man down. Luckily, the old man was not badly hurt. “Why didn't you look around while you were crossing the street?” shouted Li Dong. “I've ridden my motorbike for six days, but I've never hit anybody!” “Don't show it off(炫耀), young man,” the old man said angrily. “I've lived in the town for about sixty years and no motorbikes have hit me!”
