摘要:53.Which is the best title for this passage? A.My FatherB.My School Life C.The Girl’s OpinionsD.The Best AdviceC This is the times of information technology.Pakistanis also trying to keep up with this IT development and special steps are being taken to spread the Internet all over the country. This is considered as a great achievement and it is.But here is a question whether our people know the use of the Internet for development purpose. It is a fact that the ratioof informative and educational sites is very low. What do many of them do in Pakistan when people surf the Internet? They use it mostly for entertainment. Many students spend a lot of time and money in surfing the Internet. They do chatting or visit other entertainment sites. It is surprising to read that boys and girls go to the Internet cafes and spend many hours daily in just chatting.Just join any Pakistani chat room at any site, and you will know that what is the levelof language and which type of language mostly our people use in chatting. The number of the web addicts in our country is increasing day by day.It is also a fact that many people including teenagers visit sites unsuitable. One can imagine that they are becoming worse and they are becoming addicted to such things that are very harmful to them. They are taking all the disadvantages from the Internet.Students do use the Internet for education purpose. But there are also several disadvantages.Students normally surf more on the Internet than teachers. It happens several times that a teacher gives some work to students and they get it from the Internet, copy it and present it to the teacher, who many times is unable to know what is copied from the Internet. In this way students are giving up the habit of reading books. They just open sites, copy the information and finish the homework that they do not even read. However, a very good advantage of the Internet for students is that those who want to seek knowledge can get information very quickly and read many books by famous foreign authors which ale very expensive to buy.The Internet itself is a very useful and important tool of development nowadays, but it is really sad that in Pakistan people are mostly misusing it.Those who use it for development purpose are still very few.

One day in Overtown, Florida, 3.7 million dollars fell from the sky! It happened when a truck turned over. There was money everywhere! One man said, “The streets were like gold.” Some people took off their shirts and filled them with money.
Police officers went from door to door in the neighborhood. They asked people to return the money. After six hours, the total returned: zero.
No one in Overtown was surprised. Many people in this town are poor. They need the money to buy food for their children. They think that God sent the money to them.

“You know, these cups brings to my mind a story I heard,” Mary said to her students.
She poured some tea. There were four of them and there were four completely different cups on the tables.
“I heard there was a teacher who took all his students for tea. His students were surprised that all the cups on the table were different. They all took a cup and started drinking their tea, each looking at the cups of others. The teacher said, “Did you notice your behavior? You are all looking at each other’s tea cup and some of you even envy(羡慕)the finer cups of others.”
“I put the different cups here on purpose. I want to say life is like this tea. You all have the same thing in your cups——tea. And yet you cannot truly enjoy it in your envy of another’s cup. You forget to enjoy your own life when you envy someone else’s life. We all have the same thing——life. We should care more about the tastes of your own life. So now, taste your own tea.
