Dear Sir,
How are you? As a exchange student, I am writing to tell you I would prefer to move into a single room in next term, as I find it inconvenient to share a room with others. My roommate often held parties at night, made much noise. Besides, his friends are always visiting him, that disturbs me a lot. So I hope to draw your attentions to this problem. If you think in my position, I am sure he will agree that the only solution for me is get a room of my own, one not in the same building and as near to the school campus as possible. I would be gratefully if you could do me the favor.
Best wishes.
                                                         Yours sincerely,
                                                            Li Ming

If you want your life to stand for peace and kindness, it’s helpful to do kind, peaceful things. One of my  16 ways to do this is by developing my own 17 actions. These little acts of kindness are  18  to be of service and reminders of how good it feels to be  19  and helpful.

We live in a rural area of the San Francisco Bay Area. Most of what we see is beauty and 20  .One of the exceptions to the beauty is the  21 that some people throw out of their windows as they are  22 on the rural roads. One of the few drawbacks to  23  the mountainous area is that public services, such as litter collection, are less  24  than those are closer to the city.

A helping action that I practice  25  with my two children is picking up litter in our surrounding area. We' ve become so  26  to doing this that my daughters will often say to me in exciting  27 , "There' s some litter, Daddy, stop the  28  !" And if we have time, we will often pull over and pick it up. It may seem  29  , but we actually enjoy it. We pick up litter in parks, on sidewalks, practically  30 . Once I even saw a complete stranger picking up litter close to  31  we live. He smiled at me and said, "I saw you doing it, and it seemed like a good       32 ."

Picking up litter is only one of an  33  supply of possible helping actions. You might like holding a door open for people,  34  lonely elderly people in nursing homes, or removing snow off someone else' s driveway. Perhaps you might  35  something that seems effortless yet helpful. It' s fun, personally rewarding, and setting a good example. Everyone wins.

A. Agra Fort

Near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques.

B. Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the eight wonders of the world, and some Western historians have noted that its architectural beauty has never been surpassed. The Taj is the most beautiful monument built by the Mughals, the Muslim rulers of India. Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble. It was constructed over a period of twenty-two years, employing twenty thousand workers. It was completed in 1648 C.E. at a cost of 32 Million Rupees.

C. Keoladeo National Park

This former duck-hunting reserve of the Maharajas is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of aquatic birds from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China and Siberia. Some 364 species of birds, including the rare Siberian crane, have been recorded in the park.

D. Humayun's Tomb, Delhi

This tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal. The gardens also contain the red-and-white sandstone and black-and-yellow marble tomb of Humayun’s wife and the tomb of Humayun’s barber.

E. Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is perhaps the most awesome sight in the United States--and one of the wonders of the world. Much of the park's beauty is related to its geology and ecology. Schmidt explores the shape of the land, its plants and animals, and its human history. A fascinating book that everyone visiting the Grand Canyon should read. The Skywalk at Grand Canyon West is really exciting.

F.Sundarbans National Park

The Sundarbans covers 10,000 sq. km of land and water (more than half of it in India, the rest in Bangladesh) in the Ganges delta. It contains the world's largest area of mangrove forests. A number of rare or endangered species live in the park, including tigers, aquatic mammals, birds and reptiles.
