A twisted sense of humor and a strong voice cast(演出人员) make "Open Season" fun for kids and adults. It's a great start for Sony's animation studio.

Boog is a full-grown grizzly(灰熊)bear that has been raised among humans by park ranger Beth. He has a warm place to live, all the food he wants, and is safe from hunters.

However, when he crosses paths with the spastic(大脑性麻痹的) mule deer Elliot, all that changes. Thanks to a series of misunderstandings, everyone believes Boog is dangerous and out of control. Beth is forced to release(释放) him back into the wild.

Once Boog finds himself in the great outdoors, he has no idea what to do. He gets lost, can't find food, and is attacked by unfriendly forest cutters. Boog is forced to rely on the idiotic Elliot to help him find his way back to civilization(文明). But can they make it before open season begins for hunting?

The movie also has a really strong voice cast. Martin Lawrence voices Boog, and his attitude and persona(人格面具)perfectly fit the bear. The same goes for Aston Kutcher as Elliot. Even if you can't stand him in the real world, you'll be surprised how well he brings the annoying deer to life in the movie.

The animation in "Open Season" is also excellent. The characters are quite cartoonish, but the hair is realistic looking and the movements are fantastic. The body language adds a lot to the performances of the characters.

What’s the key factor(因素) that the Boog need to survive himself in the wild?

A. He wants to seek a comfortable settlement.

B. It’s thought that the Boog is beyond control.

C. The Boog is required to find enough food.

D. The Boog is eager to make new friends.

Who is the enemy of the Boog?

A. Elliot            B. Beth           C. hunter          D. Martin

  A. come to           B. succeed in      C. turn out           D. hold out

A. “ Open Season ” to bring fun for kids and adults.

Will you get a good job? What will you do? Many new graduates feel lost when they consider the endless list of career choices. They’ve invested a lot of money for their diploma(文凭)and now an important question stares them in the fact.
I’ve seen so many now graduates who do not know how to use the degree they have just earned. An example was Dave, who loved sports and had played baseball throughout his college years. He had his heart set on working for Nike. But he had never made clear in his own mind what kind of job he could do for Nike,so nothing ever happened. Another example was Allison, who was a history major. She wanted to work as an event planner, but unfortunately,no one hired her. Why? No experience.
Failing to do some solid career exploration first,to get a clear idea of the types of jobs you can do,is a big error that many college students make. After our suggestion,Dave and Allison both found their jobs. To ensure a brighter future, follow these effective strategies:
—Make educated career choices. Identify the job you want. Conduct research. Ask parents to advise you on actual job duties. Consider what your natural talents are,and look for positions where you can use them.
—Don’t rely on the Internet. Networking is an effective tool—be sure it’s a job—hunting strategy you use. New studies from the Department of Labor state that only 4% of job-seekers found their job on the Internet. The fact is that 63% of all jobs are filled by contacts.
Employers are making quick decisions. Most people lose the job in the first minute of the interview. It’s deadly to let the employers focus quickly on how well you can perform the job.
—Practice your interviewing skills. Be ready for the tough questions by first writing out good answers to possible questions and having a role-playing interview with your friend.
60.What does the author seem to be most probable?
A.A job-hunter. B.A magazine editor.

61.In order to be well prepared for the interview, you’d better ____________.
A.surf the Internet for contacts
B.get along well with your workmates
C.practice the interview for several times
D.take care of your dress
62.According to the text it is suggested that Dave should ____________.
A.let others know what he can do for them
B.study further to get a higher degree
C.give up his interest in playing basketball
D.take part-time jobs first
63.For Allison, she should ____________.
A.find a job in another field

A ferry carrying more than 900 people sank in the southern Philippines on Sunday. Most of the passengers have been rescued, but some people are still missing and at least nine have died.
The Philippine Coast Guard says it received a call for help from Superferry 9 early Sunday morning local time, when the ship started listing(倾斜) to its starboard side. The captain ordered passengers and crew to abandon ship about an hour later. The ship sank around 10 am local time, off Siocon Bay in Zamboanga del Norte province. The ship left General Santos City in the southern island of Mindanao Saturday morning heading for Iloilo City in the central Philippines. It was carrying 847 passengers and 117 crew members.
The Philippine Coast Guard said passing ships and the Philippine Navy rescued more than 800 people. Philippines Navy spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Edgard Arevalo said, "Most of them when rescued from the water were having difficulty breathing and most of them were weak. There was an immediate need for doctors and nurses to attend to their needs, as well as for drinking water."
Coast guard officials said it is still not clear what caused the ferry to list and said an investigation will be done as soon as rescue operations are over. The weather in the area was reported as being clear at that time, although a  storm was attacking the northern Philippines.

How many people have I met who have told me about the book they have been planning to write but have never yet found the time? Far too many .
This is Life , all right , but we do treat it like a rehearsal (排演) and , unhappily ,we do miss so many of its best moments.
We take jobs to stay alive and provide homes for our families always making ourselves believe that this style of life is merely a temporary state of affairs along the road to what we really want to do . Then , at 60 or 65 , we are suddenly presented with a clock and several grandchildren and we look back and realize that all those years waiting for real life to come along were in fact real life.
In America they have a saying much laughed at by the English :“ Have a nice day ”they speak slowly and seriously in their shops , hotels and sandwich bars . I think it is a wonderful phrase , reminding us , in effect , to enjoy the moment : to value this very day .
How often do we say to ourselves , “I’ll take up horse-riding (or golf , or sailing ) as soon as I do get a higher position ,”only to do none of those things when I do get the higher position .
When I first became a reporter I knew a man who gave up a very well paid respectable job at the Daily Telegraph to go and edit a small weekly newspaper . At the time I was astonished by what appeared to me to be his completely abnormal (反常的) mental state . How could anyone turn his back on  Fleet Street in central London for a small local area ? I wanted to know .
Now I am a little older and possibly wiser , I see the sense in it . In Fleet Street the man was under continual pressure . He lived in an unattractive London suburb and he spent much of his sitting on Southern Region trains.
60. The first paragraph of the passage tell us that___________________.
A. we always try to find some time to write a book

A. Provide Homes For Our Family     B. Take Up Horse-riding
C. Value This Very Day              D. Stay Alive

Wild animals seem to have escaped the Indian Ocean tsunami (海啸), adding weight to the idea that they possess a “sixth sense” for disasters, experts said on Thursday. Sri Lanka wildlife officials have said the giant waves that killed over 24,000 people along the Indian Ocean Island’s coast seemingly missed wild beasts, with no dead animals found. ?
“No elephants are dead, not even a dead hare or rabbit. I think animals can sense disaster. They have a sixth sense. They know when things are happening,” H.D. Ratnayake, deputy director of Sri Lanka’s Wildlife Department said on Wednesday. ?
The waves washed floodwaters up to 3 km (2 miles) inland at Yala National Park in the southeast, Sri Lanka's biggest wildlife reserve (自然保护区) and home to hundreds of wild elephants. “There has been a lot of evidence about dogs barking or birds migrating before volcanic eruptions or earthquakes. But it has not been proved,” said Matthew van Lierop, an animal behaviour specialist at Johannesburg Zoo. “There have been no specific studies because you can’t really test it in a lab or field setting,” he said. ?Other authorities agreed with this conclusion. “Wildlife seems to be able to pick up certain phenomenon, especially birds. There are many reports of birds detecting coming disasters,” said Clive Walker, who has written several books on African wildlife. ?
Animals certainly rely on the known senses such as smell or hearing to avoid danger such as predators(食肉动物). The idea of an animal’s “sixth sense” is a lasting one that the evidence on Sri Lanka’s damaged coast is likely to add to. ??
60. This passage is mainly about  _____.?
A. the damage that was caused in the Indian Ocean tsunami?
B. why animals can save themselves from natural disasters?
C. how to protect the wildlife when disaster happens?
D. the different opinions about animals’ natural power ?

B. Research has been made on the special movements of animals before disasters.?
C. It’s generally considered that animals can sense the coming of disasters.?
D. It can be tested that animals have the known sense to escape from the disasters.
62. What does the term “sixth sense” in the passage mean??
A. It is the natural ability of animals that can’t save them from danger.?
B. It is the animal’s imagination in the brain.?
C. It is some hidden power to say in advance that something will happen.?
D. It is a kind of sense that is the same as smell or hearing. ?
63. Which section does the passage most probably appear in a newspaper??
A. Entertainment.   B. Discovery.   C. Future.   D. Culture. ?
