One of my fondest memories as a child is going by the river and sitting idly on the bank. There I would 16 the peace and quiet, watch the water rush 17 and listen to the singing of birds and the rustling of 18 in the trees. I would also watch the bamboo trees 19 under pressure from the wind and watch them 20 gracefully to their original position after the wind had 21 .
When I think about the bamboo tree's ability to bounce back to its original position, the word "resilience" comes to mind. When used in 22 to a person this word means the ability to readily 23 from shock, depression or any other situation that stretches the limits of a person's 24 .
Have you ever felt like you are at your 25 point? Thankfully, you have survived the experience to live to talk about it.
During the 26 you probably felt a mix of emotions that threatened your health. You felt emotionally drained, 27 exhausted and you most likely stood 28 physical symptoms.
Life is a 29 of good times and bad times, happy moments and unhappy moments. The next time you are experiencing one of those bad times or unhappy 30 that take you close to your breaking point, bend, 31 don't break. Try your best not to let the situation get the best of you.
A 32 of hope will take you through the unpleasant ordeal (考验). With 33 for a better tomorrow or a better situation, things may not be as bad as they seem to be. The unpleasant ordeal may be easier to 34 if the final result is worth having.
If life gets 35 and you are at your breaking point, show resilience. Like the bamboo tree, bend, but don't break!

Computers can injure(伤害) you. Most other injuries happen suddenly. For example, if you fall off a bike and break your arms, it happens very quickly. But computer injuries happen slowly.

Your eyes —— Too much light can injure your eyes, so never sit too close to a comprter screen. Your eyes should be at least 50 centimeters (厘米) from the screen. Remember to look away from it sometimes. This gives your eyes a rest.

Your hands —— Hand injuries can happen because the hands are moved in the same way hundreds of times. If you use a keyboard (键盘) for a long time, follow this rule: Stop sometimes and exercise your hands and fingers in different ways.
Your back —— Some people sit for many hours in front of a computer. If you sit in the wrong way, you can injure your back and your neck. So you should sit with your back straight. You may think that sailing is difficult, but it is really not hard to learn it. You do not need to be strong. But you need to be quick. And you need to understand a few basic rules about the wind.
First, you must ask yourself, “Where is the wind coming from? Is it coming from ahead or behind or from the side?” You must think about this all the time on the boat. The wind direction tells you what to do with the sail(帆).
Let’s start with the wind blowing from behind. This means the wind and the boat are going in the same direction. Then you must always keep the sail outside the boat. It should be at a 90° angle (角度) to the boat. Then it will catch the wind best.
If the wind is blowing from the side, it is blowing across the boat. In this case, you must keep the sail half way outside the boat. It should be at a 45° angle to the boat. It needs to be out far enough to catch the wind. but it shouldn’t flap (摆动). It shouldn’t look like a flag on a flagpole. If it is flapping, it is probably out too far, and the boat will slow down.
Sailing into the wind is not possible. If you try, the sail will flap and the boat will stop. You may want to go in that direction. It is possible, but you can’t go in a straight line. You must go first in one direction and then in another. This is called tacking. When you are tacking, you must always keep the sail inside the boat.
64. What should you consider first while sailing?
A. Sailors’ strength.
B. Wave levels.
C. Wind directions.
D. Size of sails.
65. What does the word “It” underlined in Paragraph 4 refer to?
A. The sail.
B. The wind.
C. The boat.
D. The angle.
66. What do you have to do when sailing against the wind?
A. Move in a straight line.
B. Allow the sail to flap.
C. Lower the sail.
D. Tack the boat.
