Open your refrigerator door only when necessary. Each time you open the door, the compressor(压缩机) will run for 8-10 minutes to keep the inside cold.
Ask your parents to replace your regular lights with fluorescent(荧光的)lights. They use about a fourth of the energy of regular lights.
