Bungee jump is the art of tying a very large rubber band to your ankles, then jump off a perfectly good bridge or other high obstacle（障碍物）. In the modern world, bungee jumping started, again allegedly, on April Fools day,1979. A group from Oxford University, England, calling themselves "The Dangerous Sports Club" used nylon rubber to conduct an improvised（即兴的）bungee jump, and four of them jumped for the first time.
