Thank you for your letter. I am Katie. I am an unhappy girl. I am 17 years old. My parents do not have a lot of money. I do not go to school. I do not have a good job. I do not have many friends.

I’m writing to you from Beijing. You don’t know how happy I am to be here. Mother and I arrived here on the night of 10th. Auntie met us at the station. The next morning, we got up early.
