Tom and Terri are very happy. Everyone is happy in Mrs Jone's class. Today's the day for their class trip. Where are they going ? They're going to the airport.

　　All the boys and girls are in line. They're waiting for the school bus. Some mothers and fathers are waiting too. They're going on the trip. They're going to help Mrs Jones.

　　Here comes the bus. Everyone gets on. Mrs Jones counts the boys and girls.

　　" Everyone is here, " she says.

　　" We can leave now, " she tells the bus driver.

　　The bus starts and off they go. They leave the city. Soon they are on a big highway.

　　There are many cars, trucks ,and buses on the highway. There's a lot of traffic.

　　Someone yells, " I see the airport. There it is."

　　The bus stops in front of the airport. Everyone gets off. They get in line and go into the airport. The boys and girls see a lot of people. The people are going to many places.

　　" Look ! Look! I see a big plane. It's coming down from the sky. It's landing," says Terri.

　　" I see a plane, too. Look over there. It's going up in the sky. It's taking off, "says her friend, Betty.

　　Then Mrs Jones puts up her hand, "Boys and girls," she says, " I have a big surprise. We are going to see the inside of an airplane."

　　The boys and girls go on the plane. It's a very big plane.

　　" Can a big plane like this fly in the sky ?" asks Tom.

　　" Oh, yes," says Mrs Jones. "Look at the big wings. The air gets under the wings. The air lifts the plane up. A big plane can fly just like a little bird."

　　And now there's another surprise. Here comes the pilot. The boys and girls talk to the pilot.

　　The pilot says," Boys and girls, when you get off the plane, stand by the window. Watch. I can make this big plane go up in the sky."

　　The boys and girls watch. The plane is ready to take off. It roars and roars. Up it goes ! Up into the sky ! The boys and girls wave. They wave to the plane. They wave to the pilot up in the sky.

　　" Tom, " says Terri. " I know what I want to be . I want to be a pilot. I want to make a plane go up into the sky. "
