　　Every person has a unique experience and a story to tell about his school life, so do I．

　　We had great fun in growing and learning．Every year we were taken to different places for our school picnics．I was never able to go to these tours but I enjoyed every word of the stories told by my friends．When I was in Grade Eight, I won a couple of prizes in drawing and school competitions．We were also given many projects as class assignments that helped all of us to know more about the subject．I was very fond of cricket(now in football)．My friends and I played cricket in the school campus after school, but at the same time, we all used to get lots of scolding from our headmaster．

　　Every Saturday we used to have our P．T．exercise, and frankly speaking, nobody in my class, even me, had ever liked this．As I reached Grade Nine I realised that I should concentrate on my studies as the next year I was going to take my Board exams．The most memorable day in my life was the day when we held the farewell party for our seniors．Well, now I am in Grade Ten and all set to write my Boards in March．Whenever I recollect all these incidents of school life, I feel very happy and in everybody’s school life, I think there are many ups and downs that mould(浇注)one’s life．School is a place where all of us learn to care and share．“School” is not just a place, but also it is a large dome made up of knowledge, love and affection．I think in everybody’s success, school plays a key role．I can describe my school in “Three S’s”, they are：Small, Sweet and Simple．

　　Some problems are difficult to solve! But there are a lot of number expressions that can help．For example, if we put two and two together, we might come up with the right answer．We know that two heads are better than one．It is always better to work with another person to solve a problem．

　　Sometimes we can kill two birds with one stone．That is, we can complete two goals with only one effort or action．But we must remember that two wrongs don't make a right．If someone does something bad to you, you should not do the same to him．

　　If you are going out with your girlfriend, or boyfriend, you do not want another friend to go along on your date．You can just say to your friend：twos company, three's a crowd．

　　A young child in school has to learn the three Rs．These important skills are reading, writing and arithmetic．These three words do not all start with the 1etter R, but they have the sound of R．Teachers will give three cheers when their pupils do a good job．

　　Some of my friends were confused and did not understand their schoolwork．They were at sixes and sevens．In fact, they did not care whether they could finish high school．They saw 1ittle difference between the two choices．But they were really happy when they completed their studies and graduated from high school．They were in seventh heaven．They were on cloud nine．

　　Last year, one of my friends applied for a better job at her office．I did not think she would get it．I thought she had a hundred to one shot at the job．Other people at her office thought her chances were a million to one．One reason was that she had been caught catching forty winks(打盹)at the office．She slept at her desk for short periods during the day．But her supervisor appointed her to the new job at the eleventh hour－at the very last minute．I guess her lucky number came up．
