Doctors say anger can be an extremely damaging emotion, unless you learn how to deal with it. They warn that anger can lead to heart disease, stomach problems, headaches, emotional problems and possibly cancer(癌症).

Anger is a normal emotion that we all feel from time to time. Some people express anger openly in a calm reasonable way. Others burst with anger and scream and yell. But other people keep their anger inside. They can not or will not express it. This is called repressing anger.

For years many doctors thought that repressing anger was more dangerous to a person's health than expressing it. They said that when a person is angry, the brain gives out the same hormones (荷尔蒙).They speed the heart rate, raise blood pressure, or sugar into the blood, etc.In general, the person feels excited and ready to act.

Some doctors say that both repressing and expressing anger violently can be dangerous. They believe that those who express anger violently (猛烈地)may be more likely to develop heart disease, and they believe that those who keep their anger inside may face a greater danger of high blood pressure.

Doctors say the solution is learning how to deal with anger. They say the first step is to admit that you are angry and to recognize the real cause of the anger, then decide if the cause is serious enough to get angry about. If it is, they say, “Do not express your anger while angry. Wait until your anger has cooled down and you are able to express yourself calmly and reasonably.”

Doctors say that a good way to deal with anger is to find humor in the situation that has made you angry. They said that laughter is much healthier than anger.

People with disabilities make up a large part of the population. It is estimated(估计) that over 35 million Americans have physical, mental, or other disabilities. About half of these disabilities are “developmental", i.e., they occur before the individual's twenty-second birthday, often from genetic conditions, and are severe enough to affect three or more areas of development, such as mobility, communication, employment, etc. Most other disabilities are considered “adventitious", i.e., accidental or caused by outside forces.

Prior to the 20th century, only a small percentage of people with disabilities survived for long. Medical treatment for these disabilities was unavailable. Advancements in medicine and social services have created a climate in which people with disabilities can expect to have such basic needs as food, shelter, and medical treatment. Unfortunately, these basics are often not available. Civil liberties such as the right to vote, marry, get an education, and gain employment have historically been denied on the basis of disability.

In recent decades, the disability rights movement has been organized to fight against these infringements(违反, 侵犯)of civil rights. Congress responded by passing major legislation recognizing people with disabilities as a protected class under civil rights statutes.

Still today, people with disabilities must fight to live their lives independently. It is estimated that more than half of qualified Americans with disabilities are unemployed, and a majority of those who do work are underemployed. About two-thirds live at or below the official poverty level.

Significant barriers, especially in transportation and public awareness, prevent disabled people from taking part in society. For example, while no longer prohibited by law from marrying, a person with no access to transportation is effectively excluded from community and social activities which might lead to the development of long-term relationships.

Only when public attitudes advance as far as laws have will disabled people be fully able to take their rightful place in society.

A.What is the friendship?

B.The importance of trust in having friendships

C.Some factors in having friendships

D.What makes childhood friendship special?

E.Comparison between friendship and family

F.Friends used to share feelings and stories in childhood

61.______

According to the dictionary a friendship is a cooperative (合作的) and supportive relationship between two or more people. There are many different types of friendships that we will meet in our lives. There are best friends, acquaintances (熟人) and people we just consider friends.

62.______

There are many factors in having a friendship, just like in a marriage.Without these factors, the relationship will not work.Friends are mostly connected because they share common interests. They want what is best for the other, show honesty, offer advice, support and listen to the other person. When we share a friendship with someone,we are sharing ourselves, too. We are now opening a part of ourselves that we may only open to our best or closest friends.

63.______

The saying we can choose our friends but we can’t choose our family comes to mind quite often. When meeting a person whom we enjoy talking to,believing in and sharing our thoughts,we are deeply united in a way that we may never be with our family. To have a friend we must truly be a friend. What does this mean? Friendships that are selfish (自私的) are not going to last.We can be selfish sometimes with our family, but we should not be the same with our friends. In order to be true friends we must be able to think about someone other than ourselves.

64.______

Our childhood friends share something with us that no one else in our lives will ever share. They share our childhood in a way that no new friendship ever could. This is not to say friends we meet when we are older are not still great friends, but those childhood friends are there and share memories of growing up and going through all the things we faced in our younger years.

65.______

Trust is one of the biggest things that we are faced with throughout life.True friendships need trust on both sides. We must be able to fully trust our friends and they must feel the same way about us.They will be hearing our deepest feelings, listening to stories and sharing feelings that we can’t tell anyone else.If we do not feel safe about what we are telling to them,we will never be secure.
