Your mobile phone rings and instead of the usual electronic signals it’s playing your favourite music.A friend sends your favourite song to cheer you up.One day,a record company might forward new records and music videos to your phone.
The mobile business is getting into the music business. For the moment, the interest is in pleasant ring tones, but some companies are hoping to take full advantage of the next generation of mobile phones—all purpose gadgets that blend phone, personal stereo, video player and Internet browser into one.
Finally, record companies might send new records and videos to fans who register their cell phone numbers.
The fans could pass music or songs along to friends—a kind of musical trading card.Unlike Internet tracks, mobile downloads would be easy for record companies to control, said former record industry official Ralph,Simon, who is now chairman of Yourmobile, based in Santa Monic,California.
“If you pass a song along to other phones through a network, each phone can be charged,” said Simon.“It’s like going through toll gate (收费站).There’s more possibility for copyright control than there is on the Internet.”
Massachusetts-based Converse is offering service in Portugal and the Netherlands that lets people record tunes on their voice mail or send music as presents to friends. Finally, people might be able to sing karaoke and pass them along. The company is sure that people will want to use music to reach out and touch someone.
“A mobile phone is not a listening machine, and you’ll be disappointed if you think you can change it into a radio,” said Ouzel,a creative manager for Converse in Israel.“But if someone sends you a song while you’re on vacation, you appreciate the feeling.”

In the United States, friendships can be close, constant, intense, generous, and real, yet fade away in a short time if circumstances (环境) change. Neither side feels hurt by this. Both may exchange Christmas greeting for a year or two, perhaps a few letters for a while --- then no more. If the same two people meet again by chance, even years later, they pick up the friendship where it left off and are delighted.
In the States, you can feel free to visit people’s homes, share their holidays, enjoy their children and their lives without fear that you are taking on a lasting obligation. Do not hesitate to accept hospitality because you cannot give it in return. No one will expect you to do so for they know you are far from home. Americans will enjoy welcoming you and be pleased if you accept their hospitality easily.
Once you arrive there, the welcome will be full and warm and real. Most visitors find themselves readily invited into many homes there. In some countries it is considered inhospitable to entertain at home, offering what is felt as “merely” home cooked food, not “doing something” for your guest. It is felt that restaurant entertaining shows more respect and welcome. Or for various other reasons, such as crowded space, language difficulties, or family custom, outsiders are not invited into homes.
In the United States, both methods are used, but it is often considered more friendly to invite a person to one’s home than to go to a public place, except in purely business relationships. So, if your host or hostess brings you home, do not feel that you are being shown inferior (差的) treatment.
Don’t feel neglected (被忽视) if you do not find flowers awaiting you in your hotel room either. Flowers are very expensive there, hotel delivery (递送,投递) is uncertain, arrival times are delayed, changed, or canceled – so flowers are not customarily (通常) sent as a welcoming touch. Please do not feel unwanted! Outward signs vary in different lands; the inward welcome is what matters, and this will be real.

Almost all theme park accidents can be prevented. Here, based on coverage of theme park safety, are some tips to help you and your family stay safe on your next visit.
If you are visiting with a child, take a moment to explain the ride to them, and tell them what they should do.They are depending upon you to keep them safe.Set a good example for them by following the rules of the park, and make sure that they know you expect them to follow those rules, too.
Tell them to stay seated, to hold the grab bar or put their hands in the laps, and not to stick their knees and feet outside a ride vehicle.Make them look to you for the okay to get on or off a ride, too.And never put a crying child on a ride.If your child starts to cry, let others pass you in line until your child is calmed.Or, gently exit the queue and find something more relaxing to do.
Young kids can’t keep an adult’s pace in a theme park.Let them take plenty of breaks.
“Kids get tired,” said TPI reader Matt Johnson, a father of four.“Tired kids make parents even more tired. And tired kids and parents may get hurt — physically and emotionally.” He advises that parents plan a mid-day break, perhaps a swim back at the hotel, to avoid mid-day heat and crowds.“You will see cranky families having a miserable time while you are refreshed and having a great evening.”

Each cell in the human body contains about 25,000 to 35,000 genes, which carry information that determines your traits. Traits are characteristics you inherit from your parents; this means your parents pass some of their characteristics on to you through genes. For example, if both of your parents have green eyes, you might inherit the trait of green eyes from them. Or if your mom has freckles, you might inherit that trait and wind up with a freckled face. And genes aren’t just in humans — all animals and plants have genes, too.
Genes hang out all lined up on thread-like things called chromosomes. Chromosomes come in pairs, and there are hundreds, sometimes thousands of genes in one chromosome. The chromosomes and genes are made of DNA, which is short for deoxyribonucleic acid.
Chromosomes are found inside cells, the very small units that make up all living things. A cell is so tiny that you can only see it through the lens of a strong microscope, and there are billions of cells in your body. Most cells have one nucleus. The nucleus, which is sort of egg-shaped, is like the brain of the cell. It tells every part of the cell what to do. How does the nucleus know so much? It contains our chromosomes and genes. Tiny as it is, the nucleus has more information in it than the biggest dictionary you’ve ever seen.

The first step for the accomplishment of every act is the attitude of the person who wants to do something with his life. If you are the type of person who is always optimistic and has faith in your strengths then half of the job is already taken care of.
It is quite difficult to change the way you think or how you perceive(发现) reality and all the things
around you. It is useless if your friends keep pushing you to see life in another way, to be always optimistic, to laugh more and always think at the “pink” version of things. You get annoyed by everybody giving you pieces of advice. It is only you who can decide to have this great change of personality. Not only will you see things from another perspective(角度) but life itself will come to be different, meaning more exciting and more interesting.
For me every age has its beauty and one should always know how to live to the full every aspect of it. When you are a child you spend all your time playing and you don’t have anything to worry about; as the years pass you become more concerned with whatever goes around you, with the problems you have to take care of. You should always keep your sense of humor and never forget to smile. Not only the smile makes you more beautiful but it also makes you see life with other eyes.
You only have one life and you have to live it to the full every day, as if it were the last day of your existence so as not to get the point in which you are sorry you didn’t know how to live.
