Flooding first appeared at mid - afternoon yesterday along the river banks. People moving to higher ground were just in time to escape from the flood. Most of the people had to leave their possessions behind. Helped by the army, police, Red Cross Society, the whole town was moved out of danger. They are new houses near the town of Tulang. “Everything possible is being done to help the unfortunate people, ” a government official said, “ In fact, money, food and clothing have begun to come in from organizations and people. ”
