The grandmother, Lyn, said, “It was hard physically, but not mentally.” She believed life was less materialistic. “The more things you have, the more difficult life becomes.” she said. The boys said they found less to fight over, such as their computers. Benjamin also noticed that his grandfather had changed from “a fashionable beer-drinking granny to one who cooked things for them.”

Thousands of people began pouring into Pennsylvania from other states. They wanted to buy lottery tickets (彩票). The tickets cost only $ 0.9 each. But that small spending could bring them a reward of $ 90 million .That was the second largest lottery jackpot (积累奖金) in history .
