Bill Gates grew up in Seattle，Washington．When he was very young，he was good at(擅长于……)science and math，and he said he wanted to be a scientist．
Bill started to play with computer at the age of l3．At that time，computers were very large machines．Once he was interested in(对……感兴趣)a very old computer．He and some of his friends spent a lot of time doing unusual things with it．In the end(最后)，they worked out a software program(软件程序)with the old machine．Bill sold it for 4，200 dollars in 1972 when he was only 17．

Bill has many hobbies(爱好)．He enjoys reading very much．He also enjoys playing golf and bridge(桥牌)．
