Pollution is a dirty word. To pollute means to make things unfit(不合适的)or unclean to use. Pollution comes in many ways. We see it，smell it，taste it and drink it. Pollution is beginning to threaten(威胁)our health，or happiness and our life.
Man. has been polluting the earth from the time he first made fire，washed his clothes in the river and threw his waste on the ground. When land was used up or water became dirty. We know that many animals do not stay in one place. Birds,fish and other animals move from one place to another at a certain time. They move for different reasons: most of them move to find food more easily,but others move to get away from places that are too crowded.
When cold weather comes,many birds move to warmer places to find food. Some fishes give birth in warm water and move to cold water to feed.
