It was ten o'clock at night. And the last bus just stopped at the gate of a Park. An old woman got out, and the conductor was just going to ring the bell for the l　 to start the bus again, when he saw a small boy 2 at the bus stop.

Tom arrived at seven o'clock, which was fifteen minutes after the film had begun. He has been there for an hour now.

   Tom went into the station shortly after five o’clock in the afternoon. This is a bad time to travel in London, both by bus and by train, because people go home from work at this hour. He had to   1    a long queue of people who were waiting for tickets. When at last his   2
