When we talk about a wolf, we tend to describe it as a kind fierce creature. But is it really true that the wolf stands for devil and ugliness?
Have you read the book "The Wolf Totem'' 《狼图腾》by a famous writer Jiang Rong, which tells the story of the relationship between wolves and human beings? Have you ever1the wolves' world? If you had, you would2the wolves. In the book, wolves are heroes on the large grassland. They know more about 3than humans. They can attack lambs without disturbing their mothers. They also know how to 4full use of the shape of land to 5sheep.I believe that if wolves were humans, they would be 6at fighting.
The wolf is a kind of special creature that can deeply understand 7.Each wolf serves its group with its heart and soul.A 8wolf has little power, but a pack of wolves 9nothing.All the wolves obey the rules. 10they are defeated, they run away together. It is their teamwork 11makes wolves powerful.
The wolves also have great self-preservation and won't 12to anyone. The writer, who wrote the book "The Wolf Totem" , 13stole a one - month - old baby wolf and raised it very carefully. To his 14, he found the little wolf still wanted to go back with 15wolves. The little wolf bit through the iron chain that limited it.The wolf was16and never gave up fighting17its death. It seemed that the little wolf died as a glorious fighter.
I was shocked by this kind of18wolves which are one of the most respected creature on the earth.I want everyone to look at wolves in a 19way.They are our teachers. They show us how to survive and20this not simple but dangerous world. Please honor the wolves, please honor all these heroes of nature!

If you asked high school girls to name their favorite sports, most would probably say basketball or volleyball. I happen to be one of the few girls who would1:surfing. But isn’t that a boy thing? Some people2.Most certainly not.?
I started surfing about five years ago and3in love with the sport on the very first day. Riding that first 4 was the best feeling I had ever experienced.?
When I try to5 surfing with other things, I find it very difficult because, in my6,there’s nothing like it. It involves body,7,and soul. There’s sand between my toes and cool, salt water all8 us. The feeling I get when I’m surfing across that9,becoming one with the10,is like I’m weightless.?
The one thing I can11 from surfing and not any other sport is endless challenge. You can never be the “best surfer” because the ocean12 an uncountable variety of waves that nobody can ever master. The variations of surfing styles are wonderful. Some surfers are free and flowing; others are very aggressive and13.All of these things attract me to surfing and make it ?14 ? from any other sport.?
I’ve15 to tell every girl I know to do something that people don’t think girls can do. It’s part of being human to advance to new16,so shouldn’t it be expected that girls should step up and start17 the limits of things boys and men used to dominate??
There’re women18 side by side with the President of our country, so why not side by side with the boys19 the football team or out in the water surfing? Give girls a chance to20, and they will.?

One night recently, I was driving down a highway at about 60 miles an hour. A car came from the1 direction at about the same speed. As we2 each other, I looked into the driver’s eyes for a second. I 3whether he might be thinking, as I was, how4we were on each other at that moment. I was relying on him not to fall 5, not to cross over into my lane (车道) and bring my6to a sudden end. He relied on me in just the same way without doubt.
I believe that is the way the world 7 . At some level, we all depend upon one another. Sometimes that dependence requires us simply not to cross over the double yellow line. Sometimes it requires us to 8cooperatively, with friends or even 9 .
10technology makes our world smaller, the need increases for cooperation. In 2003, doctors in five nations were encouraged to find the causes of SARS, saving thousands of lives. The 11of international terrorism has shown itself to be a similar problem, one requiring the 12across the world. We must 13that our future is not controlled by ourselves alone.
I’ve come to believe that one must rely upon the good faith and judgment of others. So, while 14alone down a dark road, we must know the coming light may not be a danger, but a 15moment of trust.

I remember as a small child people would often ask me, "What are you going to be when you grow up?"
Well, it 1 being a cowboy or some super hero. Later it was a fireman, a policeman, a lawyer... As I grew older my dreams for the future 2. When, at last, I was in college, I set my 3 on becoming a preacher (牧师) like my father. 4 I studied and prepared for that life. I reached the 5 in the end and I was preaching 6 full-time for much of my adult life.
However, for many people, there is a "thief" that goes around stealing our 7. Sometimes, the thief will come as a parent, a relative, or a friend, but the 8 thief is usually ourselves.
We find 9 just about reaching the top, and a "small" 10 inside says, "You’11 never make 11.""You can’t possibly do this." On and on the "small" voice 12 our failure. Failure ,13 is one of the most important tools we have may teach us valuable (极宝贵的) 14 . When we learn these lessons well, we are ready 15 success.
I always tell my children that you 16 do anything that your heart desires(渴望). Remember the saying, "Nothing is 17 to a willing heart." There are 18 "overnight" successes, but with determination, they will come. Imagine 19 a life you dream of ,Then in your heart, believe it will happen to you. Then work, work, work. You’11 get the picture.
So, be true to your dream, and don’t let anyone 20 it from you —especially yourself.
