Because the library was now(41)A,I had to wait until the next morning to look for it.When I got there the next day,all I found was a clean restroom.This was tlle first time I could remember ever(42)Bto see a clean restroom.As I walked out,I looked at myself in the mirror and shook my head at the (43)C fool in front of me.
I politely (44)A the librarian at the front desk and asked her if a wallet had been found in the restroom yesterday."No."That was that.I walked off with a sense of (45)D.
I (46)B what I would do if I had found a wallet with sixty dollars,a phone card and other irreplaceable (47)Athings.Finally,I (48)D accepted the fact that my wallet was gone.
