这时有个警察正巧由此经过，他马上过来帮助。他拦了一辆汽车，送你到医院。代你付了医药费。直到你被治疗好了才离开医院。你忘了问他的姓名，只记得他的警号和工作的派出所。你决定以后去看他，表达你的感激之情。

A week ago, I went to see a friend by bike. On the way home it was getting dark. And then it began to rain. I rode my bike with great care, but suddenly it slipped and I fell down to the ground. My left leg was badly injured, so I couldn't stand up. Just then, a policeman happened to come by after work. He noticed what had happened and immediately came up to help. He stopped a car and sent me to hospital. He paid for the medicine. He stayed until I was properly treated, but I forgot to ask him his name. I only remembered his police number and the police station where he works. I've decided to go and see him some day and express my hearty thanks. |
