In January, 2008, a heavy snow struck southern China and in May a strong earthquake hit Sichuan and other provinces which caused great damage to the people．People throughout China spared no effort to help the disaster—stricken areas in various ways．Some made a donation of money; some gave away food and clothing, while others volunteered to go to the disaster-stricken areas to help them directly．
I donated all my pocket money to the people in the stricken area．Each donation counts, no matter how small it was．Besides, I gave away some of my clothes and used books．Meanwhile I organized a group of students to collect money in public．I think it a good way to help the needy people there．
Unity is strength．I know for sure that nothing cannot be conquered as long as the Chinese people are united and always ready to give their love。（150 words）
