Taiwan, the largest island of China, lies to the southeast of Fujian Province, with the Pacific Ocean surrounding its east. It covers an area of about 36，000 square kilometers and has a population of about 23，000，000.
Taiwan is rich in natural resources. It’s famous for tis rice, bananas, sugarcanes and so on. In Taiwan, the climate is so pleasant and the scenery is so beautiful that it attracts tens of thousands of travelers from all over the world each year. Of the numerous places of interest, the most famous ones are the Sun Moon Lake and A-Li Mountain, which you shouldn’t miss if you get the chance to visit Taiwan.
